Jordan:I can't pretend that I'm in a bad gavel. I don't mind, I've never been to New York. Actually, it's a shame. We gotta change that. I know we, especially like you and I, specifically have to change that Exactly. Is that like an anticipated trip for 2025, jordan? Is that a nice segue?
Fabienne:I think it is. I think it is.
Jordan:So we are talking about anticipated reads for 2025.
Fabienne:Yes.
Jordan:I think I can say just a little little. You know, like fun anecdote um jorah and I tried to record this before and it did not record nope, literally.
Fabienne:And I want to say it was a long episode too, it was like an hour and 15 hour and 30 and nothing.
Jordan:Yeah, yeah oh, like you know, when sometimes, like when something like either bad or like something anxiety inducing happens and you feel like the literal cold chill going through your body, like what the fuck is happening, like that cold, like shake that you have uh, that's what I had. When I saw that it did not record, I was like, oh my God.
Fabienne:Fair, fair, but I almost saw it as a, so I'm not going to say it here, because I think it was a sign of you know what we were talking about. And we said something that might not have been the nicest thing to say and I almost wondered if it was the universe's way of being like no, you can't put this out. Oh, okay, so honestly, I mean, I that's kind of how I saw it, that I was like oh, like, maybe that was really something that, like, we shouldn't have said and now, going forward, we could just not say it well, truth be told, I do remember that vaguely, um, but you know.
Jordan:So, for lining, I have no idea what I specifically said. So oh, I couldn't tell you what I exactly so even you know what I'm talking about, though I do know what you're talking. I do know what you're talking about, yes, but I just don't know specifically what I said in that very moment, like verbatim, oh yeah, me either.
Fabienne:But I know, like I said some things that definitely weren't the nicest about it, that I was like Lucky us, honey, silver lining.
Fabienne:Lucky us, lucky us well, so to kick off that, my first, my first, uh anticipated read is phantom by hd carlton. But that's because I actually went through and reordered them to be in publication order, so, like, that is the first one. Granted, we are recording this and it's already released. And when this episode comes out, it's already released. But I was actually looking forward to it from like when she announced it quite a bit ago, like definitely last year. But if I'm not gonna say anything else and if, if you want to go look it up, it's uh, hd carlton's new book wait, but did you read it already?
Jordan:no right, no, no, no, no, no. Okay, but I do, just I just make sure.
Fabienne:I don't know if I'll actually read it anytime soon, so maybe that shouldn't go on my anticipated releases, because there's just so many other books that I want to get to first. Anticipated releases, because there's just so many other books that I want to get to first.
Jordan:Yeah, I get that because I have to say I do want, like I do, I do. I do think that I really wait. Let's backtrack. I do want to read a book of hers because I actually want to maybe do a reread of, you know, the met cows. Yes, thank you. I really wanted to swap that met and cows. This is a funny thing.
Fabienne:I do too, I do too, and I think that would be so fun and I think we shall do it okay, interesting, interesting, interesting, wink, wink anyways.
Jordan:Um, wait, we're gonna do like all sorts of genres, right? Just just to double check. Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, okay. So I have a mystery romance novel for you. It's so. I want to preface this by saying that this year for me is going to be where I want to read as many unknown authors to me as possible. I like that. This one woman I have never heard of before in my entire life. Her name is Charlotte McConaughey. She is no family of, by the way. The book is called Wild Dark Shore and, like I said, it's a mystery romance, but it has a lot of suspense and like intrigue and, of course, plot twists and there is a very gothic-esque type of undertone which I really really am curious about. Um, and I just really like to cover it. Has a very sublime type of feel to it.
Jordan:That's all I'm gonna say about it for now and it's, I think it's going to be released somewhere in march. I'm not really sure which date specifically, but you know, it's in march, just mark the entire month.
Fabienne:Just one big red circle oh, did you just want to go back and forth? Oh yeah, sure, yeah, okay, have to say I'm adding this to my list, which is Onyx Storm, the third book in the what the Fuck series by Rebecca Yaros. I don't even know, the fourth wing, it's definitely not.
Jordan:I don't know Something Empire, empyrean, empyrean.
Fabienne:Empyrean, oh Empyrean, honestly something empire, imperial, imperial, imperial, oh imperial, I honestly. Onyx storm, which is the third book in some series by rebecca yaros, but fourth wing is the first one we've had like multiple. We've talked about this multiple times, like on the podcast, so again won't go into it too much, but I have lowered my expectations and so I think the book will be good I hope so.
Jordan:Um, I do know. Well, that's not really true, because it all also can also just be like you know, like a red herring, as in like false, a false type of like hint. Um, but I saw sorry, let me explain. I saw a video of rebecca yar was talking about onyx storm. Um, and she had like her three like the trilogy, or you know, is it going to be trilogy?
Fabienne:no, like just a series no, yeah, I think there's going to be like five, if not more, or maybe less, I don't know, but it's going to be more than three then we better learn the actual name of the series, mind you.
Jordan:Okay, so I saw her talking about Onyx Storm, like in a video on Instagram, and behind her she had like with the spine towards the viewer, and Onyx Storm is so much shorter than Iron Flame, like, say, at least 150 pages shorter based on, like the thickness of the spine, so I think it will be more to the point, whereas, um, I thought Iron Flame was like so dragged out unnecessarily and you know, like all very um famous and like popular trends that were going around on TikTok and Instagram, especially like the book community, just cramped into one book, and I think maybe Rebecca took note of that and was just like, okay, maybe like cut off that and just be, just write the fantasy that this deserves to be. So I really have hopes, unfortunately, for this book.
Fabienne:Same. I feel like I agree with you 100%, too, on Iron Flame. I also feel like without giving away too many spoilers in case listeners haven't read it, but I felt like Iron Flame incorporated YA aspects to it, especially for the romance, that did not need to be there, and I think, too we've also talked about it like um that I feel like she should have made this series a complete slow burn and I wish things progressed a lot slower. But with that being said, before I I read Iron Flame, I was obsessed with Fourth Wing, like I loved everything about Fourth Wing, but it's also you know, I was. I follow this one guy on Instagram. I think it's like Dylan's Reading. Dylan is reading Dylan's whatever, I don't know his handle.
Fabienne:I'm sure you've come across him, if you don't follow him already, but he talks about potato chip books where they give you no value, like no nutritional value, but you can't stop eating them. And he says fourth wing is that? And I was like that is exactly how to explain fourth wing. You will like gobble it up, but like there's no substance, but it is a good time, it's like a reality TV show and I was like yes, that's exactly how to like explain it, because it is so good Like you won't be able to put it down. But like also like things might not make sense. You just like you can't look too deep into it. You got to like you just accept it. For what, like things might not make sense. You just like you can't look too deep into it. You gotta like exactly, and you're gonna have a great time. You're not gonna have like a bad time, it's gonna be great and there's not like a metaphor right and I was like yes.
Fabienne:so now I'm like I look at it as in, like okay, yes, like it doesn't have to be this like masterpiece, but granted, I think, with that being said, I still expected more from Iron Flame.
Jordan:Oh, definitely.
Fabienne:And it just like it didn't hit. But Sonic Storm releases actually the day this episode releases, so on the 21st and fingers crossed it's good.
Jordan:I'm crossing everything. I'm crossing everything. Yes, yeah, that looks yeah. Um, I have a book by an author that I actually do know, but I have not read a single thing of hers. Um, I have, I think, the raven boys trilogy here on the shelf somewhere. Um, maggie steve father.
Jordan:Um, I have the listeners, uh, by her on my list and I want to say it's a mix of all sorts of genres.
Jordan:Um, I think we definitely discussed this, obviously, like in our previous attempt, um, but it's like a weird mix of nazi era in like the world war ii period, um, with like a hint of fbi, but also a mix of like like magical, like, uh, realism. So it has like it's like crossing all types of genres. Um, but I have heard that her books are really well written and I feel like with the potato chips type of stories I want to. I don't necessarily want to have like the book to be like, like, to have like value in that sense, but I do want it to be well written, because otherwise I am not like engaging with the story at all, regardless of what that story might be. So, the Listeners by Megastee Father, and that comes out in June, early June, I want to say the story at all, regardless of what that story might be. Jordan:Um so yeah, basically, myth class conflict, spies, a little bit of magic love actually okay, important question of all time hit me when totally spies was on tv I don't know you don't Bites with Jerry from Whoop.
Fabienne:No, was this a European thing? But Clover sounds. Clover sounds familiar. The red hair yes.
Jordan:Well, technically, yes. So we had like three women like in high school, so technically, like you know, young adult women in high school, and we had Alex, who wore like a yellow bodysuit, and then we had Sam the redhead, in like a green bodysuit and Clover, like the blonde girl, in a red bodysuit, and they were like secret spies and it was amazing.
Fabienne:Oh my gosh. Yes, I do know this, but I did not know that was the name of it.
Jordan:Oh, okay, fair. I thought for a second that you know that we could not be friends anymore.
Fabienne:I know, I know, I almost like threw our friendship down the toilet, not knowing the series.
Jordan:Just flushed it, but then my question doesn't really count anymore, because I wanted to ask, like you know, like you said, we love spies who were you always like pretending to be when you were like, when you were younger, from like the totally spies trifecta girls? I was always pretending to be Clover, but you know, never mind I feel like I remember the winx club more like the fairies. Oh my god, I love winx club so good.
Jordan:So wait did I say loved or love, because otherwise I might have admitted something here okay, um, next book, next.
Fabienne:Yes, I am so excited for deep End by Allie Hazelwood. Now it comes out February 4th and I only read Bride, which we all know. Your thoughts on Bride it's fine. It's fine, it's whatever, it's fine, but I loved it. So I'm super excited for this one. I don't, I haven't read any of her contemporary stuff. Um, I, my best friend loves her and has read every single book of hers, except really. I don't know if she's read bride, but usually she'll tell me how it is because, like, you know how, like we hate miscommunication and basically all of her books involve miscommunication, but like to a degree that I don't think we could handle it. Okay, but I think Deep End has darker themes, so I think there's not going to be any miscommunication. Either way, I'm still going to read it because I'm so excited. But yeah, that's all I got and I'm so excited.
Jordan:That's all we need to have anyways. No, I did, like Deepin was also on my list. To be fair, I'm skipping Bride. Like I said, we all know my thoughts on it, but I also have not read any of her other stuff, like the love hypothesis is one of hers, I believe, and checkmate or something like there is like something scientific like a love type of.
Fabienne:Okay, yeah, oh yeah, and then there's like no, no, just uh check, and mate is ya, and then like the love hypothesis is like adult, then there's, I think love theoretically there's, and then there's some more that I don't know the name. Okay, but I love bride.
Jordan:Like I said, deep end is on the list, so maybe that's where she changes my mind. This is a person I don't know. Ashley is like such a boys and girls name. I have no idea if this.
Fabienne:I think it's a girl. I think it is a girl.
Jordan:Ashley Winstead yes, yeah, it's a she. Okay, um, um. We read a book of hers then before um midnight is darkest hour.
Fabienne:Yes, and I really loved that book, I think I would have loved it more if I didn't listen to the audio. Oh, that was I love remember.
Fabienne:Oh, that was true, remember, but I think that was really cool, like dynamic that we brought into it. But I am very sad because I think, without giving anything away, the ending is different versus reading it, versus like audio. So like, if you're listening to this and you haven't read it, I recommend reading it either on ebook or paperback. And're listening to this and you haven't read it, I recommend reading it either on ebook or paperback and not listening to the audio.
Jordan:Yeah, that's a fair warning, um, anyway. So ashley winstead um, this book comes out on march 25. It's called this book will bury me and I have seen it circulating on instagram already so much and I'm like, how do people get their hands on like the physical arc? Yeah, or they are really good at photoshop, but it's like a really great book. It has very like this 80s type of videotape vibe to it, like there is this film over, like the cover, like with um, you know, like with the videotaping back in the day. It had like rainbow colored film like literally over it, like the well, that's basically the cover of the book.
Jordan:I'm explaining this so poorly, but once you look it up you'll see what I'm talking about. Um, it's about a college student and I think there is murder, because otherwise there won't be berry in the title and that's literally all I know. But you know, I want to give this a shot. Um, and I don't know, I think it's also maybe about gravediggers. I have really no idea, but I'm like, actually, winston, yes, new author to me, I'm gonna read her books this year, so yes, yeah, new author, but we did read her last year, so yeah, yeah, okay, but she's still a newish author to me.
Fabienne:I'm already learning my own lines here I like it though I like it okay. So my next one is another one that's kind of like onyx storm, where I have low expectations, but scythe and sparrow by brin weaver, which comes out february 11th, I I am obsessed, obsessed with butcher and blackbird, so much like I love that book so much. But then leather and lark I almost said what you you said. I almost, I almost said leather and lame you just take, you just roll with it.
Jordan:It's the new title, it's a subtitle, the subtitle I just it's.
Fabienne:it's one of those things that I was like it just, and people are like, well, maybe you should have listened to the audio. I switched to the audio and I was like, oh, it did make it like at least easier, because I was driving when we were reading it, like I was still living in Providence so I would have to drive to work and stuff, so I used that hour to like drive.
Jordan:But I feel like what's the longest drive of your life when listening to it?
Fabienne:Kind of it's like very boring. It's very boring.
Jordan:And do you think that it had to do with the voice narrator?
Fabienne:Well, everybody says like how, because they're Irish, that it's like a delicious narrator, and I'm like I think the narrator is fine, like he was great, she was great. I actually don't mind duet style was great. I actually don't mind duet style so being like the female speaks during her lines, even though it might be a male chapter, so then the male reads everything else, it actually makes it super easy to follow on or follow along during like the dynamic, uh, or like dialogue, which is great. And so I know like a lot of people either have like a love hate relationship, like they either love it or they hate it. I'm definitely one. That's like it depends. But this is almost like a dramatic audio book, so like if she laughs, like the narrator's laughing instead of like saying she laughs, or like it will be like little things like that, like if she hiccups, she hiccup, the narrator hiccups, she hiccup, the narrator hiccups and like so, like a lot of the times, like the main female main character, which I don't even know her name it was whatever, it doesn't matter.
Fabienne:Um, she laughed all the fucking time and I like, was I got? I didn't like the narrator laugh, so it just just pissed me off every time I heard it. So I think there's things like that. So I would have preferred if that was out of it, but I didn't mind the duet. So I think it just like maybe, and maybe that just ruined the experience more for me, so like everybody was like I loved it where. I was like if the narrator laughs one more goddamn time.
Jordan:I'm going to lose it yeah.
Fabienne:So, but hopefully this one's better.
Jordan:I am. I have this one on my list as well and I'm actually pulling up not necessarily like the blurb, but like the, the overall, I guess synopsis in the very vague, very vaguely described way. Um, it says here that um brin has a unique story cycle here that features indie rock musicians, contract killers, circus motorcycle performers and small town doctors, for some reason. Uh, like the may, like midnight mayhem comes to mind. Oh, I mean, we have here contract killer, circle circus motorcycle performers and indiscriminate murders and multiple povs. So I don't really know what to make of that. But I will say that, regardless of my experience with reading um leather and lark like I did not listen to the audiobook, because we all also know my stand on audiobooks, which is a very personal stand um, also, the writing in that book was just not it for me it was actually like overdoing the Irish dialect and accent, like in that book, like stylistically and like from like a grammar perspective. So it was just not. Anyways, but this book I'm like hmm, maybe this brother is like saved today.
Fabienne:Exactly.
Jordan:Maybe she can, she can like redeem herself herself, like with it or just like with the book, like I don't, I don't know, I just, I just really, but really, I just, I just hope that this is going to be, uh, you know, bringing in all the um food metaphors for stories here. I hope this is going to be like a sandwich trilogy you know where the first book is good, the middle is just a little bit blech, and then the third book is like top notch again.
Fabienne:So uh, fingers crossed, yeah, yeah, yeah, um, okay, uh, uh, wait me, or you, me, you yeah you, sorry, sorry, I sneezed, thank you, you were looking down and I was like pointing at you, but you couldn't see me and I was like I do apologize.
Jordan:Um. Okay, so I have um rachel killig. If I pronounce her name correctly, it's a romanticist meets gothic romance. Um, I actually have the uh, the one dark window duet here. I'm not really sure what the actual name of the duet is, though, but yeah I don't, I don't either, but I have that somewhere over there too yeah, well, I have it because I did. I love the cover and people were, like you know, praising it left and right.
Jordan:Yeah, everyone's obsessed with it, so it's like I need to read it so I thought I might just be obsessed with the next best thing here, like with her next release. Um, it's called the knight and the moth and night, as in, like you know, the knight in shiny armor on a whole. Um, I don't know. It's about magical realism again, um, while realism in the sense of it being a romantic, it was real to them, um, but um, we have, like I said, a gothic approach. There is like omens, witches. This is a tough word for me. What do you call someone who reads cards? Diviner, diviner, diviner.
Fabienne:I don't know.
Jordan:I'm going to spell it for you. This is a Fair, but it starts with a D and then we have an I. Yeah, well, I wish Anyways, d-i-v-i-n-e-r. Diviner.
Fabienne:Diviner, divine. I have no clue this amount.
Jordan:There's some people who receives images like you know she, she, she wow oh, a fortune teller she sells she shells by the she, she.
Jordan:Wow, I'm kidding, you got this. No, I don't. She receives visions from the otherworldly entities known as omens. Anyways, I'm already, I've already screwed this up. But Rachel Killick, the Night in the Moth, and it releases on. I have it here written somewhere May 20th, ooh, so you better jot that down in your calendar, miss. Fabienne:Down Later, not now, nope, okay. Well then, I'm so excited for this one Sunrise on the Reaping by Susanna Collins, so it's supposed to be like the prequel to the Hunger Games trilogy, but it's going to be Haymitch's story, which is releasing on March 18th, or at least that's the date. I know I should have checked, since we already recorded this so I could have checked if that date was right, but I am literally so excited for Haymitch's story, I'm so excited.
Jordan:Do you think this film eventually will also get? Wait, this book will also eventually get its film Like its own movie.
Fabienne:Okay, I think so, just because the success rate, like the Hunger Games, was huge, and then even that the prequel, the snakes and songbirds, like that film, was great, which I didn't necessarily want to read that book. I saw the movie and I'm obsessed with the movie, loved it, thought it was so good and the way they did it, it just so good.
Fabienne:Yeah, I still don't know if I'd want to read the book, but I want to read this book, and then they better. I wonder who they would cast as Haymitch, though that's what I wanted to ask Do you have like? A fan cast for that.
Jordan:No, I just remember, I'm just curious.
Fabienne:I just remember when the first Hunger Games movie was like a trailer I don't even know what movie I was seeing, but I saw the trailer for the first hunger games movie was like a trailer. I don't even know what movie I was seeing, but I saw the trailer for the first hunger games and I was obsessed with jennifer lawrence, also like josh hutcherson. Like josh hutcherson, like younger me, had the biggest, like crush on him. Oh my god, same Really. Oh my, yes.
Fabienne:Now he looks not that great, but younger him and younger me, I was like I love him.
Jordan:We're just gonna pretend that you know he didn't age past when we were young this sentence does not make sense grammatically, but you know what I'm talking about. Like when we were 16, 17, 18, and when, like, those films came out that josh still lives rent free in my head, but after that he didn't age. He's still like, stuck in that same. This makes me sound like a pervert, but he's still never mind. I'm not even gonna finish that yeah, no, no, no.
Fabienne:But but that's the reason why I read the books, because I was so excited to see this movie and I was like, okay, well, gotta get it. And then that's what got me into reading those books.
Jordan:So, like, that's true, I know yes young josh hutcherson and jennifer specifically yeah, jennifer lawrence, young josh. No, oh, I, I actually looked it up um like what the fan cast is for like Haymitch. So there is, there are a lot of differences here. Actually, tom Holland is like up the list apparently here.
Fabienne:I could get behind that. I could get behind that.
Jordan:No, I used to have the biggest crush on this guy too, like when those marvel films came out, like with spider-man josh holland, tom holland I tried to combine their names. Honestly. If that mash would just exist, please thank you. Yes, yeah I. I had the biggest crush on tom holland I love him and zendaya so much. I think they are the are they actually going to get married? Like is that? Is that rumor true?
Fabienne:I don't know, but they would have the prettiest babies, because did you see him in an interview saying like when he had a kid or when he has kids? He like he doesn't want to act anymore, like he just wants to be like a dad. And I think she like shares, like similar views and stuff, which also they are both so extremely successful that they probably, like spider-man alone has probably made them so much money. Plus she's done so many other things.
Jordan:I don't actually know what else he's done but just cheering her on from the sight lines. I think.
Fabienne:Exactly so. I feel like they wouldn't even need to do anything. And then, if they were to come back, it would be like the movie that they choose to come back to Everybody's going to flock to it, of our age anyways.
Jordan:There is actually speculation. No, because we're not old. There is actually speculation where, with the new Christopher Nolan movie, like about like a retelling of the Odyssey, where Tom Holland apparently is cast in and.
Fabienne:Zendaya. Oh, I didn't know about her, but I knew about him, Possibly, but I don't think anything's like set in stone yet though.

Jordan:Oh, and this guy, I actually can get behind this like potential actor too. Do you know? You've seen, um, how's it? A dragon, yeah, or only just game of thrones, okay, so you know that, um, oh god, all those names are. They're so like alike. I fucked them up entirely in my head. So we have, like the guy, spoiler for house of the dragons starting now. So you know that, like the I think it's aegon, the guy who just got burned off his like dragon, who was like, oh, the king, yeah, basically just a king. Yes, that actor, uh, tom glincarney.
Fabienne:Apparently he is fan casted as hamish abernathy, as, like the younger hamish okay, I think I could also get behind that, but I also just know I'm from like house of the dragon, so I don't know what he would look like natural otherwise. But also I feel like, is that really a spoiler, because there's so many fucking agons agon, agon, agon, agon, agon, agon that is actually.
Jordan:That's actually very true. Yes, but also it's good that you put it down yeah, but do I say no, then end spoiler and do I time like timestamp this oh, end spoiler.

But I don't like you're gonna want to read, I say you should read phantasma first before you read Entantra, just because, like things happen and you kind of just get a little bit more about like the characters that will be in the next book. But don't look anything up, because I think that was what was cool for me, because like something happens in the book and you're like oh fuck, and so it's really cool and I feel like that was very vague, but like Doesn't matter, we like fake.

Jordan:I am obsessed with this book, so much I really love the cover too, actually so good and I'm not necessarily a fan of skulls and covers, but this one is actually. It's just, it, just.

Um, that comes out april 8th, and another book that comes out April 8th is Fearless by Lauren Roberts, which is the third book in the Powerless trilogy, which I am so excited for. I loved Powerless. I loved Reckless. I think there is a lot of people that either. A lot of people didn't like it. They felt that the book could have been two chapters. I was obsessed with the book. I finished it in a day. I loved it, I loved everything about it and I cannot wait for Fearless.
Jordan:Could I read this Like this series? Do you think I would like it?
Fabienne:It is YA. It's a super easy read and very it's a potato chip book.
Jordan:Okay, fair, honestly, we should keep that. We should keep that up, because I like that, I genuinely like the metaphor and it just describes you and gives you what it is I think we should make an episode of like potato chip reads oh my god, jot it down, jot it down, I'm jotting it down okay, okay we, we have to do it, we have to do it.

They say that if you like the Hunger Games, this is like a Hunger Games, just make it with magic and powers, which I agree. Now, some people like going in will read it because of that, but then they still want something different, even though you say it's going to be a Hunger Games with magic. But then they get mad because it's too much like the Hunger Games. But if you like the Hunger Games and want more Hunger Games, then you want to read this. But if you want something that's like different, then don't pick this one up, if that makes sense.
Fabienne:But I love the Hunger Games, so, like, I want as much of the Hunger Games as I can get. So, reading this, I was like, yes, please, but think of it. In the first book, it's definitely is in a way like a love triangle, so like it does pull that from. Like, I feel like a lot of yas have love triangles. I don't know why, I don't know what it's, why it is, granted, I love a love triangle, but I feel like all of them are in like the ya books. So if you like that sort of stuff, um, I I loved it. I ate it up again.
Jordan:Very quick read, gobbled it down, I just go up, gobble it up, not down, and ask for seconds not sloppy ones, though, no sorry no not those. That's too many food references.

Jordan:I again have no idea when it comes out, but I was obsessed with the cover. I don't have it here for you, I only had like the little blurb. But I actually have seen Saltburn recently and I have House of Hollow here and it is a very gothic-esque type of I'm forgetting the word here um, I guess, story, both, by the way, like the book and a film. So I'm curious about this one because it's also mixed with romanticy and I think it's uh, I don't know, just sounds really interesting and what were your thoughts on salt burn?
Jordan:that's my question I thought it was weird as fuck. I mean, I get what, I get what people are praising it from, like a cinematic perspective and like with the whole, you know the way it was filmed, and like the storytelling, the acting. Also, I like the way it was shot, like with the square footage, does that make sense? But the story itself? Did it make sense? No, did I keep watching it?
Fabienne:Yes, yes, that last song, when I don't even know the song. But now when I hear it, I just think of him running around the house naked and his ding-a-ling-a-ling. It's just like flopping everywhere. It's just like loop, loop, loop, loop, loop, loop, and I'm just like ah.
Jordan:His dick has been haunting me for weeks actually. Well, not weeks, I mean, I only like saw it like the other week actually, or two weeks ago Just wait until that song pops up now for you, because now you will think of that moment. I tried to avoid it with all my might.
Fabienne:Oh, and when that movie, we watched it like relatively soon, like when it came out, so out, so like I think people were playing that song because it became like popular but they hadn't seen the movie. So I'd be like, have you seen salt burn? And they'd be like no, and I'm like you wouldn't have picked that song if you had kind of makes sense.
Jordan:It tracks that you haven't seen the movie. Yeah, no, I, I think, I, I do like, I do genuinely think that it was, like you know, between air quotes, a cinematic masterpiece. But I could also have not seen it and just like, continued on with my life happily and merrily.

And then what comes out April 29th is Ignit, Runix and the Firebird, which is a live release, so we have no idea when that's coming out, but I'm excited for both of those stories and Assassin.
Jordan:I'm so excited I I would like to circle back to the first title that you wanted to pronounce. I mean, you've had like a week week to practice this, didn't you, didn't you? I was?

I cannot wait for that, which I think is going to be a trilogy, so that's like book one in the trilogy and then the last book, which is my one I'm the most excited for and I can't flip and wait. I don't even know if this is the actual release date, but Quicksilver, book two, which is untitled, I think we looked it up and it's like fey, alchemy and fey or something like that, but supposedly, based off goodreads, it says it's releasing november 18th, but I know she was just traditionally published for quicksilver and that came out by forever, not that long ago, like in december. So this book two could be pushed out, but november 18th could be accurate. I'm praying it's accurate because I need book two for the life of me like yesterday.
Fabienne:Yeah, but I am so excited for that book and I cannot wait do you have any like guesses as to what the title might be, since we're talking about like alchemy and this book title is like called quicksilver no, and I feel like I know we talked about it before and I know that the series name is like fey and alchemy and things like that, but I still think quicksilver would have been a series name and then something else for the title. So I really don't know what she would name book two um, I'm very curious. I think it.
Jordan:Yeah, I don't know because, like I don't know, maybe just gonna pull like a lindsey straub, like once quicksilver has been republished, like traditionally, then like it's already oh, yeah, not bad.

So we started looking at alternatives and I just fell down his rabbit hole again and I think we might or we should look into it maybe again, possibly like in the near future, just just, just, just just for funsies, I know.
